I am waiting for the next big event in the Internet - they promised that eBay will very soon start accepting Bitcoin, on the earth right now we have 200 million NERDS around the world. And Bitcoin community right now is only 0.1% (only 5 million people know about Bitcoin).
If eBay will start accepting Bitcoin, its community will increase over 1 or 2 year from 5-10 million to 200 millions! (All the nerds & simple investors will find out about it).
Right now only 5 million people know about Bitcoin, but only 100000 people (0.1 million) are holding those 80% of Bitcoins.
Imagine only 5 million people knew about the Internet. Nobody knows yet that MySpace should be created, nobody knows yet that Vkontakte should be created, nobody knows yet that Facebook should be created, nobody knows that Mamba (dating site should be created), nobody knows about Twitter existance yet, nobody knows about multibillion tool called "Skype", nobody knows about how the search will be done (Google), nobody knows about Torrent yet (people didn't knew that people will be able to download movies without paying to Hollywood), nobody knew about PayPal and eBay, nobody knew about how much money will go through Visa/MasterCard electronic payments (actually its around trillion dollars that's spent on the Internet)
Right now if you will start recognizing what problems Bitcoin can solve by its payment network - its easy to understand that this is the future.
Since only 5 million right now knowing about Bitcoin.
